What must a teacher consider when planning a technology-integrated lesson in a standards-based environment? Is each of these considerations equally important?

Use this online tool to engage your preservice or practicing teachers in an exercise aimed at answering these questions. With the Visual Ranking tool participants can identify the criteria for planning a technology-integrated lesson in a standards-based environment. They can analyze and discuss the importance of each criterion and then order the criteria from most to least important and explain their reasoning.

Filamentality

This easy-to-use tool can be used by preservice and practicing teachers to develop web-based activities that support standards-based learning. The user begins by choosing a topic and identifying learning goals and then builds the activity. Filamentality guides the user through the steps required to create the activity. The user has the option of selecting from the following activity types: Hotlist, Scrapbook, Treasure Hunt, Subject Sampler, and WebQuest.
